Inspired by my recent travels to Japan and the Philippines, I was enamored by the amazing displays of epiphytic ferns, posted up on trees and growing happily in their habitats or thriving in greenhouse conservatories. The steamer basket series represents the hot and humid days on Sigijour Island, the self watering wicking station behind the mount - a respectful nod to Japanese functional and minimal design. 

Along with the steamer baskets, I wanted to play with mounted kokedama inspired wood mounts using a fun assortment of ferns. Simply water the moss ball when it is dry to the touch, hang in an area with nice filtered light or even better - a brightly lit bathroom, and bring the beauty of nature indoors.

All mounts come with hardware to hang up at home.
